2020 – 2023

Don’t you think that despite the development of technology in industry, there are still works to be performed by people that are tedious and repetitive?

This project was intended to replace those monotonous tasks performed by humans with automatic and robotic solutions. SHOP4CF (Smart Human Oriented Platform for Connected Factories) was an EU-funded project within the eighth framework program Horizon 2020 that aims to create a unique infrastructure for the convenient deployment of human-centric industrial applications. SHOP4CF believes that people should not be replaced by automated processes but can gain new relevance through usage of their individual abilities within the factory. Therefore, new technologies need to be human-centric.
